You’ve heard about the disaster hubs located around the island—the centers where you will go for information and medical care after a large-scale disaster. But what will they be like? What specifically will they offer you?

Now you can find out and also beef up your general preparedness knowledge. June 7, from 2 to 4 p.m., visit our Disaster Hub Open House at Bethany Lutheran Church.

At the event, informational booths will share information on general disaster preparedness; Map Your Neighborhood; water, sanitation, and hygiene; food resilience, communications, and wildfire mitigation.

The event is hosted by the Bainbridge Prepares Partnership: Bainbridge Prepares, the City of Bainbridge Island Emergency Management, and the Bainbridge Island Fire Department.
